During the rush hour commute November 5th, 2013, the Orchard Park Fire Company was alerted to respond mutual aid to Windom Fire for a rollover motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, Windom 9-2 reported one SUV on its side, requiring extrication. Rescue 7 arrived on location a short time later, stabilizing the vehicle with our Rescue 42 struts, and successfully extricated the victim with the aid of our HURST Tools, or "Jaws of Life". The victim was cared for by crews from Orchard Park EMS and was transported to a local hospital.
