Today, the Orchard Park Fire Company was called to 1 Fox Run for a report of multiple heat, smoke, and sprinkler flow alarms. When first arriving officers got on location, they found a fire had occurred in a second floor apartment in the senior living facility. Luckily the sprinkler system did it's job and contained the fire. Crews from Orchard Park, Hillcrest, and Windom fire companies removed the hazard, and ventilated the smoke from the structure. The sprinkler system was turned off and the water damage was kept to the area of the fire origin. Residents were moved to a safe area until fire operations were complete. No one was injured, and damage was kept to a minimum.
