Tonight for our weekly drill, crews refreshed themselves on the use of our Ice Water Rescue equipment before going out and using it in the water. The Orchard Park Fire District does have a Surface Ice Water Rescue Team which has approximately 20 Ice Water Rescue Technicians. Our team is also part of the mutual aid plan for various surrounding towns incase they have an ice water emergency.
