Early this afternoon, the Orchard Park Fire Company was alerted to respond mutual aid to Hillcrest Fire at the Chestnut Ridge Park Eternal Flame for a patient with an injury in the ravine.With the assistance of West Falls Fire ATV Team, crews setup their rope rescue equipment, and repelled down to the patient, who was packaged and brought back up the ravine via the rope system that was setup. The patient was extricated from the woods via the West Falls ATV Team and evaluated by Orchard Park Fire District EMS.
