This afternoon, Firefighters from the Orchard Park Fire Company responded, as part of a multi-agency response to Windom Fire Company, to assist with a search and rescue of a missing adult. Crews from Hillcrest Fire, Orchard Park Police, Erie County Sheriffs, Erie County Emergency Services, and Niagara Frontier Search and Rescue worked together, searching a heavily wooded area by foot, ATV and air. Approximately 4 hours into the search by foot, a search crew located the missing adult. The missing adult was transported to a local hospital for further evaluation. The Newton Abbott Fire Company also assisted by covering the Town of Orchard Park while crews were busy searching. Thanks to all that assisted in the search!
