This afternoon, the Orchard Park Fire Company as well as the Orchard Park Police Department responded to a wire down call. Upon arrival, crews found live wires down in the roadway on fire. Crews closed the road for almost two hours while the hazard was being mitigated by NYSEG.If in your travels you find wires down in the roadway, DO NOT DRIVE OVER THEM OR TOUCH THEM, and call 9-1-1 immediately!
